The IRCC holds its fourth straight all-program draw after an 18-month break. 2,250 Express Entry candidates were invited by Canada to complete their applications for permanent residence by August 17. One of the main ways that Canada welcomes immigrants is through Canada Express Entry. Through Express Entry, Canada is on a plan to welcome 55,900 immigrants in 2022; by 2024, the target will rise to 111,500.

Draw for all Express Entry programs
Through August 17, 2022, all-program Express Entry draw, Canada extends invitations to 2,250 applicants. Invitations were sent to candidates who had at least a 525 score. Candidates could apply through the Federal Skilled Worker Program and Canadian Experience Class because no specific program has been specified for this draw.

In 2022, four draws for Express Entry will be placed.
Since July 6, 2022, four all-program Express Entry draws have taken place, and 7,500 applicants have been invited. Since it began, Express Entry has had 229 draws. While there were 250 more invites than in the previous draw, the minimum score was cut by 8 points.
The last Express Entry draw was placed on August 3, 2022, with 2,000 candidates receiving invitations and a minimum score requirement of 533.
Processing of applications
According to IRCC's announcement, the application will be processed in six months. Candidates have 60 days to submit their applications for permanent residence in Canada.
Rule of Breaking Ties
For this draw, the tie-breaking policy of December 28, 2021, will be applied. The cut-off will be based on the candidates' application submission dates and times if more than one applicant obtained the lowest score.
